What is the goal of FB3C’s student ministries?
FB3C Student Ministries’ mission is to inspire, capture, and ignite students for Jesus and learn what it is to live for Him daily. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10am and Wednesday evenings at 6pm for Bible Study. Our time together is designed to grow our students’ relationship with Christ and with one another while deepening their understanding of God’s Word.
Who can attend and where do you meet?
Our Youth Ministry includes grades 6-12 and we meet on the first floor across from the Fellowship Hall. Sunday Morning Bible Study follows the LifeWay ‘Bible Studies for Life’ curriculum while Sunday and Wednesday evenings are topical in nature addressing issues that students face daily.
What activities are you involved in?
Throughout the year, the youth have opportunities to participate in retreats, mission trips, fellowship events, and many other fun activities. We serve alongside various ministries within the church helping to reach our community with the love of Jesus Christ. Through all these activities, our goal is to equip young people to grow toward mature Christian adulthood.
What is the High School Graduation Rate of students who participate in FB3C’s Student Ministries?
We are thankful to say that over the past 5 years, every student involved in FB3C’s Student Ministries has graduated high school, and 90% of those graduates continued their education beyond high school.
Does our family have to belong to FB3C in order for our children to attend FB3C’s Student Ministries?
Not at all! We do encourage each family to be a part of a church, and we would love for FB3C to be your church home, but all Youth grades 6-12 are welcome to attend and participate, just as all people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome at our church.
Summer Camps?
Each summer, students attend MissionFuge Summer Camp. At MFuge, we jump into ministry with local communities and serve people in need. Highly trained FUGE staffers take care of the details, lead Bible study and facilitate the planning for each day. Students will get to invest their time and energy into a variety of mission projects. Each MFuge location offers Children’s Ministry, Games & Recreation, Social Ministry and Painting/Construction/Yard work. Specific locations offer Evangelism, Homeless Ministry, Special Needs Ministry, Peer Ministry and International Ministry. During the day, students will be challenged and stretched as individuals; in the evenings, there are opportunities to build group unity over dinner, worship, fellowships and church group devotions.
